Booking
The easiest way to book a public cruise aboard Jenny Wren and check live availability is online using the link below.
Bookings can be made in advance online. Our online ticketing provider will add a booking fee. Cancellations can be made until midnight the day before for a refund of the ticket price.
Any remaining seats will be sold on the day at the boat, and payment is by cash or card with no additional booking fee.
Please arrive no later than 10 minutes before your scheduled departure time. We will endeavour to seat groups together but cannot guarantee this.
Information and Terms
Cancellations and refunds
For public cruises the customer can cancel tickets with a full refund of the ticket price until 23:59 the day beforehand. It is not possible to cancel on the day of cruise.
No refunds will be given for missed departures, however we will accept any valid not checked in pre-booked tickets on future cruises, subject to seat availability.
Children
Children and babies are welcome onboard. Infants 0-3 years must be accompanied by one adult per infant, not supervising other children. For Children aged 4 to 16 years maximum 2 children per adult is permitted.
Children must be supervised at all times
If the cruise is full we may require that prams and children’s scooters are folded and stored on the roof of the boat.
Pets
Pets are not allowed, only registered guide dogs
Access
Access to the boat is via steps which passengers need to be able to manage independently. Passengers cannot be carried down steps in a wheelchair. Wheelchairs and walking frames can be carried. If the cruise is full we may require these are folded and stored on the roof of the boat. Please contact us if you require further information.
Smoking, vaping and e-cigarettes
Not permitted onboard.
Cruise timings
We will endeavour to adhere to the scheduled cruise times however cruises may be delayed by situations outside of our control such as other canal traffic, weather, low water levels and lock availability. Unfortunately we cannot accept claims for inconvenience in such cases.
General operational terms
Cruises may have to be cancelled or curtailed if authorities restrict the waterway or impose trading restrictions affecting our operations, or if the boat master deems it not safe to travel. We cannot accept claims for inconvenience should we have to cancel or curtail a cruise but may offer a full or partial refund.
The boat remains under the control of the designated boat master. The boat master can refuse to carry any person who they deem to be causing a disturbance or endangering themselves or others.
We have a zero tolerance drugs policy. The boat master will refuse to carry, or ask to leave, any persons found to be using or in possession of drugs.
